Make (Good) Trouble

We are a social impact company driving positive change for young people and families

We design strategies that change lives through youth-led co-creation.

We work with young people to co-produce content, to evaluate programmes and projects, to carry out research into young audiences. Our aim for every project is to help us to better understand the needs of children and young people. Every programme we develop aims to create a supportive framework for them, their families, and the communities they live in.

As our name suggests, Make (Good) Trouble is a social disrupter. We exist to challenge existing norms and change entrenched ways of doing things. Our work is centred around young people’s emotional wellbeing and everything we make is developed through the eyes of the child. We actively encourage teens to think differently, to understand that they have the capacity to redesign their thinking processes and challenge and change attitudes.

Our productions, projects and programmes are also aimed at anyone who wants to understand teens better including parents, carers, families, educators and policy makers. If you’re interested in collaborating with us, partnering, funding or donating to our programmes, please get in touch. Together, we Make (Good) Trouble.

“Working with Make (Good) Trouble to develop lesson plans for our PSHE Association-accredited adolescent well-being project has made all the difference to our outreach. It has literally opened the doors to hundreds of schools for us. This means potentially thousands of students are being resourced to support their own mental health and to have healthier media diets. Our impact would have been a fraction of what it is without MGT. We are working with them on a second set of lesson plans and look forward to working with them on new projects we are developing. They are great!”

“I’ve just listened to the Raising Teens Neurodiversity podcast and it’s absolutely fantastic. I’m really enjoying listening to the advice from the panel as well as other young people’s own thoughts and feelings that are similar to my own. I also listened to the Trauma podcast and I’m in tears hearing what the panel had to say about my own story and just hearing it back. I can’t put into words how brilliant this show is and I hope more people can hear it because it could be life saving for someone going through something similar!”
